Company Overview

Plaskolite-Bunker takes great pride in offering it's customers the highest quality mirrored sheet goods in the industry. The attention to detail in the manufacturing process and the multi-point quality assessment made during the entire manufacturing cycle assures the customer that the material that they receive will meet or exceed their needs. True, this additional effort makes the sheet more expensive, and many question whether or not it is worth the price compared to less expensive sheet from our competitors. We believe that it is not only competitive, but in many ways, less expensive to use Plaskolite-Bunker's MirroPlast™ because of our superior manufacturing process.

Plaskolite-Bunker begins the process by insuring that the acrylic, polycarbonate, and PETG substrate is suitable for our process. Every sheet is inspected to assure compliance with that specification. Every pallet is inspected upon arrival to assure compliance with that specification. The material is then stored in an airtight cover until it is to be processed. After your order is received, the material is scheduled for production, insuring that you do not receive "stock" sheet that has been sitting on the shelf for months and months. During our manufacturing process, each employee is also a quality control engineer and can pull a sheet from production or mark a defect that is noticed. After manufacturing and painting the sheet is then cured to insure that the paint is set and hardend. The part is then processed through final inspection and packaging. A five point quality assurance check is made on the product and any sheet failing any one of the points is set aside. The final approved sheet is then "branded" with our logo printed on a roll of tape and affixed to the surface of the sheet to insure that you know the material is from Plaskolite-Bunker and has gone through our quality process. We then package the material on oversize pallets to insure that it is not "dinged" on the corners or edges during shipping. The result is consistently high quality material that arrives on your dock ready to ship.

How does this help you?

First, when the material is sold, it stays sold. Our quality systems assure you that your customer will accept and be able to use the product. Secondly, end user processing is simplified because the customer knows that the material is Plaskolite, Inc. optical-grade acrylic and, because our paint backing is the most durable and scratch resistant in the industry, many of our customers save the expense of additional masking by processing the sheet with no masking on the paint side. Finally, we are aware that we are successful because of our customers. All of our staff, from sales to production, knows that your requirements are important to you and your style of business. It is our goal to maximize efficient use of our product and, we strive to accommodate your needs consistent with good business and quality practice.
