In 1982, Plaskolite-Bunker was incorporated in Texas to accomplish one task - to develop and produce a superior sheet of acrylic mirror using continuously processed acrylic sheet instead of cast.

Quality continuously processed acrylic mirror at a lower price with fewer inclusions in the sheet, lower incidence of delamination, and a greater range of thicknesses and applications is available to everyone.

Not content with just the development of the initial process, Bunker has refined the production and inspection process so that today, customers purchasing its Mirroplast™ products enjoy the highest quality sheet available from any manufacturer, domestic or foreign.

Recognizing that the weakness of plastic mirror products is the relative softness of the surface, Plaskolite-Bunker formed a sister division, Rmar Coat, to develop a coating facility capable of producing the highest quality coated plastic sheet possible. Today, customers of Rmar Coat and Bunker benefit from sheet goods with abrasion resistance and other properties, processed in a clean room environment designed to ensure the high quality that our customers demand. Many distributors who buy Plaskolite-Bunker Mirroplast™ plastic products take advantage of our design staff and laser cutting capability. By being able to design and purchase cut parts for the end customer, they can participate in markets that were formerly unavailable to them.
