Q. What colors are available in Plaskolite-Bunker Acrylic Mirror and what gauges can you order them in?All
available colors and their corresponding color numbers are
listed on the Acrylic Color Table in the Tech Data Sheet
section of our web site. They are available in .118" and
.236" gauges.
Q.
Can you thermoform plastic mirror? No, the plastic must
be formed first and then mirrorized.
Q.
Can you line-bend plastic mirror? Yes, it does, however,
frost the reflective finish at the bend line.
Q. Is it possible to get samples or literature of Plaskolite-Bunker products? Samples of most of our products can be obtained
by simply sending an email to mailto:samples@bunkerplastics.com
Include your specific request and mailing address and your
samples will be shipped via United Parcel Service. For shipping
purposes a phone number and contact name is required.
Q. Can anyone purchase material from Plaskolite-Bunker? Plaskolite-Bunker is a manufacturer and our products are sold through distribution.

How much does the optical clarity of Polycarbonate or Acrylic
mirrors differ from that of Glass mirror? The reflective
quality is better in plastic mirrors but the image may appear
warped in larger sheet sizes when not properly mounted.

What are the differences in Polycarbonate and Acrylic mirror?
Polycarbonate material is more impact resistant than Acrylic,
but Acrylic Mirror generally has better clarity than the
Polycarbonate mirror.
Q. Will Plaskolite-Bunker cut sheets to size? Yes, Plaskolite-Bunker can cut sheets to size. Cutting charges will be included in prices when a quote is given.
Q. Are there minimum quantities that must be met when ordering from Plaskolite-Bunker? Some minimums may apply on specialty
items. Standard material however, will be sold in less than
case quantities with a boxing charge applied.
Q. Does Plaskolite-Bunker have the ability to coat their material with anti-fog or scratch resistant coatings? R mar coat
is a division located at our facility that specializes in
coating mirror with scratch resistant coatings and anti-fog
coatings. They can also apply scratch resistant coatings
to non-mirrored sheets on one or both sides.
Q. Does Plaskolite-Bunker offer Laser or Die Cut parts? Yes, Plaskolite-Bunker can Laser cut or Die Cut material for your customers specific applications. Our customer service department will request information such as quantities, material, sizes, customer¹s application, tolerances, and drawings, so that pricing and lead time can be accurately quoted.
Q. Does Plaskolite-Bunker offer materials suitable for use in the aircraft and marine industries? Plaskolite-Bunker does offer mirror made from Polycarbonate Fire Retardant substrate that is approved for use by the Aviation Industry. Our Marine Grade is Acrylic mirror made to exacting marine specifications and suitable for use in the Marine Industry.
Q. Is Plaskolite-Bunker Mirror safe for use in outdoor applications?
Bunker Mirror is safe for outdoor applications providing
all recommendations for installation are followed. For certain
applications we can apply specialized UV and/or water resistant
coatings.
Q. Does Plaskolite-Bunker have material readily available for shipping in stock? Yes, standard material is normally
in stock and available to ship within 7 to 10 days of an
order being placed. Specialty items such as fabricated parts,
coated material, laser or die cut parts, and oversized sheets,
will require longer lead times.
Q. Does Plaskolite-Bunker offer any kind of a warranty on their products? Yes. Customer satisfaction is very important to Plaskolite-Bunker and our products are guaranteed.
Q. What products are recommended for cleaning Plaskolite-Bunker Mirror? Plaskolite-Bunker Mirror should be cleaned using a soft cloth and a multi-purpose cleaner. Furniture polish works best on Acrylic & Polycarbonate mirror while Fantastik® and Formula 409® work well for cleaning the Anti-Fog mirrors. Abrasive or scouring cleaners should never be used.
